This policy explains what personal data EORwise collects when you use eorwise.com and our EOR matching quiz at quiz.eorwise.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

EORwise is run by its founders, Araf and Piya, through NAAT DATA & TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS FZCO, a company registered in the IFZA free zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for your personal data (the “controller”). For anything privacy-related, email team@eorwise.com.

2. What we collect

• Your quiz answers: the countries or regions you hire in, whether you already have a company there, whether you need contractors or visas, your priorities, how many people you plan to hire, your start date, the benefits you care about and the kind of help you want.

• Your email address, which you give us to see your results.

• What you tell us when you email us or speak to us, such as your name, company, role and hiring plans.

• Basic technical data. Our hosting providers process your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site. When you finish the quiz, it saves a small note in your browser (local storage) so our site can show the providers we have used ourselves. We do not use advertising cookies.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

• To show you your matches and follow up on your request. This is a step you ask for before any contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

• To improve our matching and our service, based on our legitimate interest in running a useful service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

• To send you occasional updates, only if you agree. You can withdraw that consent at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

• To meet legal obligations, for example keeping business records (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Who we share it with

We never pass your details to an EOR provider without your permission. We use a small number of service providers who process data only on our instructions: Framer (website hosting), Cloudflare (quiz hosting and security), Google (the spreadsheet where quiz results are stored) and Microsoft (email). We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

5. Referral links

Some links to providers on our site are referral links, and we may earn a referral fee if you sign with that provider. If you click one, the provider’s own website, cookies and privacy policy apply.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this applies, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

We keep quiz answers and your email address for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client project records are kept for as long as the engagement needs and for any period the law requires. After that we delete them.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to send it to you in a portable format. Email team@eorwise.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

9. Security

Only the founders can access your data. Our service providers encrypt data in transit and apply their own security controls.

10. Changes

We will update this page when how we handle data changes, and we will change the date at the top.
